Security+ is an entry-level cybersecurity credential. It is the most prevalent cybersecurity certification and is usually the first certification taken in information security. The certificate assures potential employers that candidates have the core skills required for a cybersecurity role.CompTIA Security+ emphasizes hands-on practical skills, ensuring the security professional is better prepared to problem-solve a wider variety of issues.
